the silent majority
thats us boys and girls
we hanker for favour
and want to be heard

multitudes of people
passing us by,
some vanish into obscurity
some stop to say hi

throngs of humanity
no time for each other
apathy reigns
too much trouble, dont bother

yet

we dance when we're happy
we cry when we're hurt
but in society's eyes
"thats just sissy" they blurt

this message is then
for the unseen, the unheard
stand up! be counted!
dont just follow the herd!
