sorry for the lack of entries over the past 3 wks heh
i plead work. what else. also i have become rather addicted to this computer game called rome total war barbarian invasion....so engrossed i am that i can play it for hours and still find it fun haha
oh well we are doing head and neck for anatomy now....and i lift up my levator labii superioris alaeque nasi muscle in an approximation of a sneer, despairing at the sheer amts of stuff we had to remember. ok i just wanted to invent a sentence to insert in the levator labii superioris alaeque nasi muscle...haha! see i did it again!! (: playing with heads in the anatomy hall is gruesomely fun...i used the forceps to poke at the eye from within hahaha how cool is tt.
oh i also donated blood for the 1st time in my life yesterdae....wanted to feel how a 10% decrease in intravascular vol would lead to an overriding of the control mechanisms for ECF osmolality, and cause immediate ADH secretion and sympathetic discharge for systemic vasoconstriction....hahaha talk abt using myself as a patient. well the textbooks are right. i know that now.... i always thought physiology was half bulls*** heh.
i will soon post a very interesting topic i have been mulling around in my head (the frontal lobes of the cerebral cortex specifically) for some time now entitled :" Our standards of perfection merely rest on God's Standards of Perfection"
till then...happy chinese new year...and may we all grow rich upon the generosity of long lost relatives who came into mysterious inheritances haha :P

Your tag board is spoilt! Anyway u didn't have to trouble yourself with the blood donation if u just want to find out what a 10% loss of vascular wadever feels like. U could have just asked me..i'm trained in performing intra-venous injections and i have a 40% 1st time hit rate.
